The Joules Law of heating is why you should never, ever leave your car parked in your garage, even if you don’t plan on using it. It is important to understand exactly what a car would be heating if you left it out in your garage. You could be heating the contents of your car or it could be cooling your car. Either way it’s a bad idea.
You can be heating, cooling your car, or both. The amount of heat you are heating or cooling is completely arbitrary. It depends on the ambient temperature, the amount of heat you are trying to transfer, and how much of that heat you really need. If you are trying to heat the car for a day at a time, you are heating it, and therefore you are heating it. If you are trying to cool your car, you are heating it, and therefore you are cooling it.
To make matters worse, our cars run on diesel. That means that every time you run your car, you are heating it all the time, and therefore your car is heating it. So if you are going to use your car for driving purposes, you need to heat it. If you are going to use your car for cooking purposes, you need to heat it. If you are going to use your car to heat yourself, you need to heat it.
It’s not just diesel, it’s also hydrogen and methane. The reason you cannot heat your house with the gas tank inside the garage is because it’s too thick. It’s a huge, tall cylinder, about the size of a fire hydrant. So if you have a pool, you are heating it with the pool. You can also open the garage door while you are heating your pool, but there’s very little you can do about the heat inside the garage.
Derived from the word ‘heat’, of course, but I am going to go with the word ‘heat’ because it is a great word to use in a sentence. So if you have a pool in your garage and you want to heat it, you should do it with the pool. You can open your garage door with your pool, but if you are boiling water in your garage, you are not heating your pool.
I can’t help but think that I’m the only person in the world who uses the word heat to refer to something in the garage. The point is that most people I know are more likely to use the word heat to refer to something that is inside the garage. If you are boiling water in your garage, you are heating the water. If you are heating water in your garage, you are boiling it.
In most cases, the word heating is used to indicate a process that is happening within a certain temperature range. A heat pump is a type of heating system that uses a pump to move a fluid.
