We are all creatures of precedent. Our current laws are our first, our best, and the foundation of how we make decisions in the future. It’s important to note that the law we’re currently using as a basis for everything — even if it doesn’t work for us — is the one that existed at the time. There are all kinds of different systems of precedent.
I think it is important to be aware of the systems that we use to make decisions in the future and to be aware of the current systems. In a previous post, we talked about how the courts have already recognized that precedent is just a source of law. However, this is just the first step in the process. In the upcoming case against the three Visionaries we’re going to see, the issue of the Visionaries’ previous crimes and the fact that they are amnesiacs will be used to show they haven’t even the slightest clue what they are doing, which will be used to say that we can’t arrest them. But as soon as they do something that is illegal we can arrest them.
Well of course they will be arrested. We are the law. It’s the law that we are looking for. So it only makes sense to look for law violations from the very beginning. The fact is, the Visionaries have been having a hard time staying under the radar. They have been taking it upon themselves to do something they are not supposed to. It’s as bad as a drug dealer selling pills from their house for profit. We want to focus on their behavior, not their crime.
