After the academic year ends, the university offers admission to the law students through the university’s official website. Here, students can submit their application by uploading their documents and paying a fee of Rs. 25000 to have a look at their application documents. Once they have checked over their application, the university will then invite them to meet the members of their law school to discuss their application further.
The university’s admissions process is quite rigorous, as most students need to write a whole lot of essays and exams. It turns out, that not everyone wants to write essays like that. An online survey found that even though most of the students who were offered admission were offered admission, only 7.5% of them actually had an interview with the law school.
What makes all of this possible is that the university is not only looking at the essay part, but also the personal statement of an applicant and the interview in the first place. These two pieces of information are what they use to find a student that is most suited to the law school. The interview is like a formality, and is not the determining factor.
